He's really strong and survivability is really good for now. This character used totems that cast divine ire. I didn't even know that I still have my Hierophant character from the times of #poecomp. Funny thing is that after this I tried the end-game content (maps) and died almost at the start of the map by some very strong rogue exile.

It's not even that long ago that I killed Kitawa, the final boss, for the first time. I am getting better and the fight is getting easier because of that too. The thing is that everytime I die I create a new account. I died so many times in this fight, sometimes because I was not careful enough, but sometimes because the build was just too slow or didn't work very well. They can do just too much damage.įight with Avarius/Innocence can really tell you if you will be able to progress further in the game. The boss fights are different, you actually want to kill them as fast as possible before they kill you. It's harder and there is a chance that even capped resistances and a lot of health can't save you. So why did I want to talk about the High Templar Avarius and Innocence? Act 5 is a little bit different than the first acts of this game. How do they do it this fast? I don't know. Watching a couple of videos from your favorite speed runners and see them defeating this game really quickly is completely fine though. I have played PoE for hundred of hours, but there are still things new to me. Also because I have always played the Hardcore mode and the Hardcore leagues I have never seen the endgame yet. That probably is slowing me a lot, but if you don't experience everything by yourself, what's the point of even playing the game? You are missing all the fun of this very complex game. You can actually just keep dying and soon you will kill whatever monster you are trying to beat - that's not fun, at least not for me. When you die in the Standard mode you can just respawn and try again, even if your build doesn't work or if you are not 100% focused on the game. There is no challenge and nothing is at stake. I am getting bored by even thinking of playing Standard mode. unless you can narrow down what you are looking for in a better way. It's probably the worst idea ever, but I have never played the Standard mode or the Standard leagues in Path of Exile. Poe.ninja is your best bet to filter out builds, keep in mind though that you will not be able to filter out by item class, aka staves, nor will it show a great variety since it shows the top of the ladder, which are usually more meta builds. unfortunately, none of the templar's ascendancies shine with attack builds with the exception of maybe inquisitor again, but it gets shadowed by marauder and duelist considerably. However, arguably for channelling spells such as divine ire, incinerate, etc trickster has more synergies.Īs for attack builds, there are new stave nodes and overall melee nodes that allow you to get a lot of DPS out of staves. particularly for templar, an inquisitor would shine with spells like wave of conviction, divine ire, ice nova+frostbolt, and many others. you could use this to gain a lot more dps.
#Templar path of exile Patch
Stave's this patch went from being only good for spells to very good for attack builds as well.įor spellcasters a crafted staff could give you extra supports like cast when channelling, power charge on crit, or good damage stats like 20% double damage.
